Training & Validation Centre Manager

Swansea

 

 

Oceaneering are currently seeking a Training & Validation Centre Manager to administer
and oversee the processes involved in validating and approving new and emerging
technologies. Organizing samples, administering the validation activity and to work with
Third parties for sample procurement and invigilation as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

(Other duties may be assigned. )

  • Operation / running of specialist school and continue to develop courses
    by creating working syllabuses for courses
  • Achieve BINDT accreditation for awarding PCN certification
  • Create supplementary training and software courses for the candidates
  • Employee will be required to work closely with the Oceaneering team
    at Stockton, Global SIS Management and SIS Engineers to develop
    an in-house training and competency courses for all grades of Technicians
  • Responsible to work within the SIS Support Group and assist with
    QHSE (Oceaneering and client) documentation control, equipment
    maintenance / control and vehicle management
  • Maintaining the validation sample diary, assessing the requirements for
    sample acquisition and coordinating validation projects
  • Actively promote research and development, attend Technology fairs
    / forums and provide feedback internally
  • Assist SIS management in Business Development including updating
    information sheets and Technical proposals
  • Working alongside the SIS Technical Management team in maintaining
    procedures for all discipline, generating techniques and managing the
    quality control of the method
  • Travel alone or as part of a team, to be self sufficent and organised
    in pre job preparation, execution and post job activities including
    reporting and file completion.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervise personnel within the SIS department in accordance with the
organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: Hiring, training
employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance,
rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
